Cladding options for your dream Snugg
Because we design and build each and every Snugg based on exactly what our customers want, there are lots of decisions to be made during the planning phase – one of the most important of which is what type of cladding to use.
Now while it’s not a particularly sexy or fun topic, cladding is extremely important. That’s because it can dramatically alter the overall appearance of your Snugg.
With this in mind, we have worked hard to form relationships with numerous cladding suppliers so we can offer the largest selection available on the market. But we’d never restrict our customers when it comes to building their dream Snugg, which is why if there’s another cladding option out there that you like, we’ll source it for you.
As standard, we offer Millworks’ Larch or Thermowood cladding options, treated or not, it’s your choice. Take a look at the samples below and browse through the Millworks website for lots more examples and to gain some inspiration.
Seen something from their website that inspires you? Just let us know and we’ll speak with Millworks to arrange some samples for you to view. They can paint in any RAL colour and their “burnt larch” finish is stunning!
Composite cladding offers a truly fit and forget (low maintenance) solution. In fact, all you’ve usually got to do is wash it down with a hose and a sponge once a year.
Fire rated cladding is required on all sides that are within 1m of your garden boundary. This is where the fire rated Envirobuild Pioneer cladding comes into its own, with its Class D–s1,d0 fire rating and 5 clean and contemporary styles.
The Pioneer range is made almost entirely from recycled material and does not splinter, making it safe for you and your family to enjoy. Finally, there’s a 15-year residential warranty as standard for your total peace of mind.
If you’ve seen cladding on residential properties, chances are it was HardiePlank. It’s particularly popular on extensions and a product our parent company, New Key Homes, fit regularly on large extensions.
Another composite product offering excellent fire safety (Non combustible A2 fire rated) and stability, as well as being ultra low maintenance, HardiePlank comes in a huge range of over 20 colours for you to choose from – allowing you to really personalise your Snugg
